Brands of shavings?

I interested to find out which brands of shavings people use.

I love hunter but ive just had a few pants bales. Wooburn i find are very hit and miss. Scaracen are pricey but when i got them they didnt seem to go very far. Edelspel seem ok but are quite a small flake.

What brands of shavings do you use and what do you think of them and what do you pay?

General Chip £6.24... seem to last forever and I like them
Arden Supabed (cant remember how much it is) smaller bales but good quality
Hunters £5.70 a bale - yet again very good
BEDMAX - another cant remember cost) but awful to work with and not at all absorbent!
Sundown Good sized bales, chopped straw and shavings treated with Eucalyptus to stop the horses eating it.... easy to work with..... but horse ate it anyway and had another colic attack! £5.20 a bale!

UK Cushion Bed. Very clean, dust free, doesn't move about in the stable and very absorbent.

Funny you mention that one! We have 100 bales of this being delivered next week to give it a try!

'Natural Flake'..... large shavings that expand greatly when the bale is opened, £5.50 a bale, the best I've found so far.

I use Hunter shavings which I think is about £6 a bale, failing that I use Fourseasons.
