Break in - South Wales

I have just received a text from a girl on my yard to say that last night some scumbag stole tack from our yard. We are on the border between Caerphilly & Cardiff so please everyone in that area beware. I used to be on a yard just down the road and this happened there are 10 months ago so there does seem to be somebody going around the yards. Be vigilant! I will update with more details once I've been up the yard.

Just got back from the yard and it seems the only thing that has been stolen is a saddle and leather bridle.

All my stuff (most of which is now in my living room, OH will be happy!

), my synthetic bridle, my lunging equipment, body protector, ropes&headcollars, my friend's boots& headcollars, are all still there so it seems it's only saddles they're really after. The yard opposite got done 2 weeks ago (but they didn't tell us) and had 2 Falcon saddles and a £1500 treeless saddle taken (we only had one saddle on the yard and that's due to the owner being Dubai and her horse being ridden by others). My old yard down the road had this happen too around this time last year.

So just be aware there are saddle thieves around.
