I have a youngster and im looking at rollers, side reins, cavesson etc.
Dont need them just yet but just looking in to the best types/makes to get.
Anyone have and advice?

2 lunge lines with snaps that fit through the roller rings so you can long line. Really annoying and a faff if the snaps are too big to go through.

Long lines with cord rather than webbing for the first 4 feet or so, they then run much more freely through the rings on the roller when long lining. Got mine from ebay.

Breast girth (to attach to the roller). If horse has a buck, the roller can't slip back and potentially turn into a bucking strap.

Roller pad with velcro straps to attach to roller, so it can't slip out from underneath the roller in use. Think mine is a Roma.

Micklem multibridle. Doubles as lunging cavesson, and holds the bit comfortably in place, very kind for a baby.

Equi Ami do some nice accessories, even if you don't want the main gadget. Their roller has mahoosive D rings, good for long reining and they do a cavesson with bit clips so that if you are using gadgets you don't need both a bridle and a cavasson on at the same time.
