So last week my racing yard acquired a 7 year old TB, good confo and bone but spent 7 years in a field doing nothing. A local farmer who knows the trainer has bought him to us to break in, and he's just fabulous
I'm committing a HHO crime by not having pictures but ill try to get some!!!
When the boss went to fetch him he walked straight into the horsebox like he'd been doing it his whole life though he'd never been near one before!
Started lunging him in side reins he's been great, he lacked muscle when he came to us but in 2 weeks he has filled out LOADS
He is easy to tack up, doesn't get girthy and loves a scratch! He's just so eager to please its great working with him!
Last week he had someone sit on him for the first time, was a complete angel and did everything asked of him

Yesterday we took him out on the roads for the first time with 2 racehorses who don't blink at anything, I was behind, head lass in front and another lad in the middle on him with the trainer walking alongside, didnt spook at any cars he only had a little jiggy joggy session when the horse in front decided to wind him up a bit
So pleased for him
His name is pedro btw
