breaking yards - west yorkshire?

Hi! I have a 4year old section d gelding which i would like to send for breaking early next year (i'm thinking march time). i was just wondering if anyone knows of any good yards in the area. I dont really want him going to far away as i would like to be as involved as possible and be able to go and see him regularly :)

I have heard mixed reviews on him which does put me off, i dont want anyone whos 'rough' with them as he is a bit of a worry pants!

Foxeefilly- tracey mcConnell seems brill looking at her site. Do you know where abouts in west yorks she is based as i cant fine an address on the site. :)
 
This is so hard...... I keep hearing good and bad things about everywhere! I wish i had the guts to do it my self (this was always the plan however i seem to have turned into a bit of a whimp!) i want the best for my little monkey but its just so hard to fine the right place for him to go!
 
Yes it must be difficult - all I can say is making sure you get the right yard is so important so definitely go and have a look around yards and find out about them if you can before deciding.
 
Another vote for Pennine View Stud. Sent an ex-racer to them, he came straight off the track, their yard is very chilled, couldn't fault it. They did a great job and treat each horse individually. PM me if you want more details
 
Try googling Jolyce Clancey, she is on jolyce.com I think, lovely rider & horsewoman, has a lovely way with them..she puts in time & effort but not the girl for people who want to win at all costs, she's very careful to keep things steady & the horses sound..lots more info if you google her and look on site, definitely worth a call/email & visit, shes very approachable
