Hi Everyone, I am new to the site so am still figuring it out. I am taking my horse to Brean in two weeks time; we are staying at Ocean Lodge Caravan park…..I am so excited!!:)
Does anyone have any contact details of a local vet and farrier just incase, I think I am best to be prepared! Also is there anyone that is local that wouldn’t mind me joining them on a ride? Xx

I've recently spotted this place and would love to take my boy down there sometime for some traffic free rides on the beach. Would be really interested to hear some feedback on Ocean Lodge, from a neddy and owner point of view :)

I can't speak anymore highly of Ocean Lodge, we had a fantastic time! And they couldn't of looked after us better😊 we stayed in April in a 6 berth caravan for 3 of us, the caravan was lovely and clean, and perfect for our two night stay. The journey down was really easy mainly motorway (we travelled from Staffordshire) the road off the motorway for the Horsebox were fine no narrow ones. You have direct access to the beach which was great, the beach was very quiet but we chose to go outside if school holidays, it was mainly full of dog walkers. We took good advice about riding in the sea and on the beach and made sure we knew the tide times. The stable were great for our three horses and there was plenty of hay. All in all for the money we paid its was so worth it and the experience of riding on the beach magical! We will def go back next year! 😊

Also AH pm me, we said we had a few things we would take next time you might find the info useful. Oh and try to contact Snozzo she was great full of advice on what to take... think she goes every year x
