Breast Girths v Breast Plates

(Do some call them hunting breast plates?)

Anyway, if you understand me, what do you use / prefer and why?
I did use the 'hunting' version as then I could add the martingale attachment, but now I generally use the 'girth' version and either use a seperate martingale or no martingale at all - dependant on mood! Breast girth seems easier for me to use on a daily basis, and it was only used when Meg was a little lean, now has turned into habit!
 
i too used to use the hunting style but now use a breast girth with sep martingale. reason being i dont like the restriction of the hunting style ones and i also dont like how they attach to the D rings on the saddle.
