Breast plate or V- Check?

ok, I need to get a either an elasticated breast plate or a v check with a martingale attachment for the nag but which to get, any recommendations?

I got the Jeffries competition one

I need all the handle I can get lol

I prefered it to the straight across ones as they appear to press on the lower part of the windpipe (my view anyway).
