Breastplate in dressage test - ok?

I am doing my second walk/trot test on Sunday

but as I have to hack there and it will be the first hack on my own since falling off I want to ride George down in his martingale. I know I can't wear this for the test, but will it be ok if I unclip the martingale bit but leave the breastplate on? Just means it will be less hassle when I get there as I won't have to get off, and it still means I'll have a neck strap!

Yes I always ride Pidge in his breastplate and do dressage
