I am debating on whether to buy an elastic breastplate with running martingale attachment (preferably the John Whitaker one;))

reason being, my horse has fairly low withers and sometimes the saddle can move especially when jumping !

trouble is I have the Pessoa Legacy XP3 saddle and i cant work out whether the john whitaker one is a similar brown  ?

its called oak brown although saddle is a little darker i think
anyway..... if anyone has any other suggestions or should i go for a 5point ? it just seems a little pointless i dont event lol just do pony club and show jump

so is an elastic breastplate with martingale attachment worth it

thanks

Does the saddle move back?
If it slips back, then a breastplate would be useful.
However, if the saddle slips forward, a breastplate would be useless.

If the saddle moves, it suggests it dosent fit the horse well enough :)

No idea re:colours, sorry :)

I have one because my horse has giant withers and is a good three inches higher at his wither than at his bum. He does look a bit strange bless him but he does have lovely uphill paces!

I think alot of people wear one just for fashion but if you are finding your saddle slipping back then its a sensible thing to do.
