And OMG I dont even start my dressage until after 4pm! Have about an hour in between everything. I HATE being at the end of the day! Everybodys gone home by then! And it gives me all day to over-think things....!
I was right with my times. Dressage at 1006 Wouldn't mind but it's normally a three hour drive, but there's road works on the Forth Bridge which I've been told to allow an hour extra for (!). So, 4.30am is my ETD.
Add to that the fact I'm going up alone, towing a trailer for the first time (new toy!) and driving a new 4x4 and you have one very stressed, tired person!
I'm going to be on top form!!
But don't care at the moment as my baby horse won his arena event tonight - first party since his two month lay off due to lameness. Woo hoo!
Yeah, I read the Forth Road Bridge problems - what a real pain in the ass. Can see thats going to p*ss off a lot of people tomorrow! Luckily, it wont effect us as we're coming down from the North. There's me moaning about my late times when yours is way worse! 4.30am?! OMG. We're probably going to leave about 11.30 / midday!
Driving on your own AND with 2 new toys is tricky! But you'll be fine
Well done on the arena event! That's impressive if he's only a baby and been off for 2 months!
