Can anyone reccommend some breeches for me - I have a 26" waist, skinny legs and NO backside whatsoever. Most breeches I have tried on (though granted, not many) wrinkle up round where my bum should be and advertise the fact that I am missing part of my anatomy!

I'd really like some checked ones - would the Pikeur Lugana ones be any good? Or (cheaper end) the Derby House Liberty or Bronx ones? Or anything else?
Comments/ opinions/ advice muchly appreciated!

Well actually I was about to invest in some of those as well!

I'm going to riding club camp in April and this is me preparing - I'm doing five intensive sessions of dressage over four days (and one hack) and will be needing padded undies for protection, and checked breeches to look the part

So even if we end up doing airs-above-ground (highly likely), I'll look good and be comfortable

Everyone calls me skinny beanpole, I am 5ft 10 and a size 6/8 and i fit in gorringe (extra length) with no worries (i always roll the top over!), my mum shrinks all my others so they end up fitting.

Silmarillion, you are such a numpty.

Instead of worrying about which ones to buy, buy the ones you like and eat more pies!

(Ethel now worried that she won't look the part in her plain unchecked brown and choc ones...

You will soon find out exactly how much I eat - actually I think your car will be full of stuff for me to eat and not with the horses' gear!
You will look the part, trust me! I feel the need to dazzle everyone with expensive checked breeches and a bling browband (I was stood staring at the bling at work today too) whereas you can dazzle everyone with your riding!
I feel a trip to Aivly coming on!

Ah brill thanks hun! I hadn't thought of asking you, though I do know how skinny you are! Only problem is they don't come in any sort of blue check pattern, do they?

Never mind I might actually have to look like a normal person and wear plain ones!

I think the use of the word 'dazzle' is a little extreme - I feel 'disappoint' is far more fitting - still, if Finn is all neat and shiny and Im all brown and co-ordinated, I shall be happy

Cant offer any breeches suggestions, my backside needs a wheelbarrow all to itself.

Blimey well I only need three, one for each day of camp minus the fact that one day I'm wearing my "wine" Harry Hall jods because I love the colour (I can't wear the same ones twice hence why I need so many!

I am too excited. Must stop being excited. Calm down.

Toggi vesta jods are the ones I've got and I'm a skinny wench. Probably the best fitted ones I've got

Dont you just hate being tall and skinny?

Go onto ebay quickly and buy my Harry Hall needlecord jodhs waist 24"!!! They end tomorrow. I am a "stick" and they fit me fine. 100% of proceeds goes to ILPH for the Amersham horses and I have started them at £2.50! I hope you get this in time.

Dublin kids pull on ones are good for everyday and less than £20
I find Pikuer Lugana a bit big on the hips and thigh....... but they do a Lugana slim (classical dressage website) but I've never tried them on.

Oh, I have this exact same issue. It's really getting me down.

In all seriousness, my tack shop says Pikeurs tend to come up big. I have schokemoles that are more for curvy figs I think. Georg Schumacher, Eurostar come are better for thinner figures.
