Breeches - size 8

Quick question - I'm a size 8, 28" waist, 30" inner leg, what size breeches would I take in Pikeur, Ariat and Cavello and are any of those brands a write off for short people?

Can't help with those brands but recently bought a size 24" Jeffries breeches and they fitted perfectly - I'm also a size 8 with 30" inside leg

Thank you, I had a feeling 24 was about right. Weird sizing, isn't it?
