Just received my Derby House order - brilliant - lovey leather headcollar and 2 pairs of breeches - same make as i had 6 months ago - tried them on !! they are too flippin tight !!!

and... before anyone says anything - they are the same style and size as my last pair and I am exactly the same weight as I was before !!

trying to get the right size is hard enough but this takes the biscuit - will now have to send them back ! what a pain ........

penguin biscuits and tea on offer for anyone willing to listen to me whinge !

My YO bought me some DH leather seated breeches for Christmas... after throwing myself off the nearest cliff to get into them and waddling round like a penguine not being able to bend my knees I gave up and took them back....

It seems they have either gone really skinny on their sizes OR are using a different leather on them as there was ZERO flex in them, not one little teeny weeny bit! :(

I ordered some DH breeches in the recent sale too and I've found them a tad on the small side even though I ordered the same size I do in every other make which all seem to fit.

I can just about do them up, but they are really lovely so I've told myself I've got to loose a couple of pounds so I can breath in them before summer!

I found the same problem last year with Shires Saddlehugger jods, bought exactly the same ones ast hey fitted well, even the same colour (as colours make a difference to the material and therefore the fit, stupidly)wore well and they were less than half price. I could not get into them initially - until I lost weight:eek:

glad its not just me, 6 months ago I ordered some of the leather seated breeches and even with a size up they were tiny !!! will send them back - its gutting about these - they were the dakota breeches and a bargain at £13 a pair !!!!! anyone want 2 pairs breeches size 30 ! one antique navy/one beige ? haha
