Breeches/Tights for competing?

What breeches/tights do you all recommend for competing? What colours do you wear for each discipline?

I currently wear Noble tights for every day but need to get something that actually fits now for competing!

Pikeur pale cream breeches for BD. I'm not brave enough to wear white although I do have a pair of white Flexar leggings that I bought for competitions but haven't used yet (I do use their coloured ones for every day riding).

I wear biscuit flexars and love them. Very flattering and no VPL's.

Does anyone wear the Le Mieux Truffle breeches for XC? I can't decide what make/colour to try for things like Arena XC
