Breed shows in S.E? And tips and tricks for a spectator?

As part of my 2nd vaccine resolution to get out a bit more, I've decided to add breed shows to my calendar in the hopes of learning something and seeing lots of pretty ponies. So, which shows are there in the SE? And any advice for a novice-to showing-spectator as to what to be looking for, so I can actually learn something?

What sort of breed shows are you looking for? Arabs will be very different to natives etc.
Most of the breed shows have gone now tho.
There is the Southern Fell show in Sept at BCA.

The Lusitano breed show is in October at Moreton Morrell.

The Shetland Pony Breed Show is this weekend at Chard Equestrian Centre, a bit the other way for you though.

No clue, honestly. Figured that I'd go to a couple different ones and decide which I would want to visit again then.

My NF mare at Breed Show at 5 yrs old, 1983. Went for all the years I lived in the New Forest, it was/is a lovely show. All types of NF ponies on show with stallions having their own day now.
