Hi all - another breeding post - where are all you breeders!?

Question: If you could pick 5 stallions, who are still alive to use in your breeding programme, who would they be: Feel free to give reasons or not. Just to get the ball rolling, mine are (in no particular order):

Sandro Hit
Staccato
Verdi
Quidam de Revel
Baloubet du Rouet

Any other offers?

Jamie

I like Pursuit Of Love, I have had a load by his half brother Courtship - all smashing types.
Im not planning to go to Zaha, but reckon he will be big in a few years time and his yearlings are going pretty cheap at the mo..... Would be the type to buy and resell as stores.
Mare might go to Alflora next year, or liking Auction House, or maybe the Linamix at Mickley.

dirt cheap atm.... the one we bred would make an ok hurdler, but i was really disapointed in him, based on his sales results i can't see him getting any decent mares, & hasn't he gone back to the southern hemisphere... he wasn't in this years Stallion book, which i thought was interesting, We're hopefully going to firebreak this time (if i have my way we will, but mother wants to go to pursuit of love AGAIN... (mare is in foal to him atm)

I've cheated slightly as we already have a horse by Baloubet du Rouet but I would always have another one.

Unfortunately no although keep trying even a tenner would be good occasionally.
Will just have to settle for my boy, at least he has two of those legends in the 1st two generations of his pedigree.

Echo this Zaha was shipped to India i think pretty dam quick once he had yearlings on the ground.
Nobody wanted to use him.
Firebreak looks interesting , was loooking at the booklet Bearstone sent out the other day.
Also think Indesatchel looks interesting there.
The word on the street for this years new sires though is Iceman although to look at he wasnt my cup of tea.
