Hiya guys!

i am thinkin about havin a couple of stallions at stud so what the stallion need? like a pay for grade etc......but i wont want anything goes wrong if i know nothing about it.

i am very keen to know and would be useful for me future thanks!

unless you have pots of money or are willing to make lots of sacrifices I'd try to buy one already graded, perhaps retired. I'm just starting out on this and it's so so hard. It's not easy at all. You need to produce the stallion or pay for him to be produced, then there's the grading (you will need a producer to take him) and vettings and x-rays, and grading fees, then fees to register your stallion with the studbook after he grades, and the gradings are stringent and tough. Then you'll need to pay someone to ride/compete it and campaigning it will cost a fortune too. And theres probably 100 things I've forgotton or dont yet know about........

or I may be completely wrong....... lol I'm just starting as I said.

I guess it also depends on what market you want to aim said stallion at.
