Hi everyone!
I'm considering putting my mare into foal but I need to consider what breeding costs are, I have seen a nice stallion but trouble is that his stud fee is £750 and more so how much more money on top of that needs to be spent?
I know i need to pay for Stud fee, vet to inseminate my mare, vet to scan (at least once to ensure we have a foal), vet to check foal once born, passport foal then the everyday things but I feel like I'm Missing a huge chunk.
Anyone help me? Any rough ideas of costs?
I won't and do not plan on rushing into anything, especially if I know it's unrealistic and not affordable, I just want to know rough prices for each thing.
