breeding info on welsh D wanted

ive recently bought a nice welsh D and i'm interested in finding out more about his breeding and about him if poss

were do i start ,iv'e tried googling his name and the stud were he came from don't seem to have a website :(

any help would be great :)

his name is hillgarth rio bravo

his dam is hillgarth victoria (by park rambler)

his sire is erdyl daniel owen

he was bred by r.g mcneal at hillgarths stud co durham

That would be Parc Rambler (his dam's sire). Parc were pretty well known back in the 80's, mostly for section C's (IME) but the odd D too. If still alive, he'd be in his late 20's - if not 30's by now.

Can't help you any more than this tho, good luck with the search :) - have you tried the WPCS for info?

no not yet this was my first port of call :)(after google) as ive seen links to breeding info in here before so was hoping someone could point me in the right direction

off to have a look at WPCS now thank you :)
 
A man called Ronnie McNeal breeds Hillgarths in Durham. I went there 2 years ago with a friend to get his sec d. But can't quite remember where it is. My friend knows him quite well so I could get a telephone number for you if you like? Also, his son's (and maybe himself) go to all the big welsh shows so you may bump into someone with some more info at a show :)
