Hi all,

Ive recently purchased a house with a barn (WHOOO) and can now build my own stables, the barn is already partitioned and the old owner had wooden fronts, due to my horses being big bullies im opting for breezeblock fronts to be built.
Does anyone have any pictures of their breezeblock internal stables to share, or ideas and pitfalls I need to be aware off?
I was hoping to crease breezeblock walls, and then use bricks to breaks a sloping wall towards the door? Sort of like the old fashion brick victorian stables, has anyone done or got pictures of this?

Appreciate any replies! Show me your amazing stables :p

My indoor stables are cement blocks. I'd have thought breeze blocks were a little lightweight to cope - but stand to be corrected. Mine certainly aren't pretty - just 6'6" solid walls with a gap for the door:)

Yup, AFAIK they were put up some 20+ years ago when someone who knew what they were doing still owned this place. Sadly the owner since then was a complete and utter bodger and most of the work he has done will need to be taken out and re-done.

My partitions are cement blocks. They have lasted well, although one will need replaced this summer due to adorable pony's habit of belting it with her back feet.

Mine are about 6'6" high. Fronts are not block, but full width doors.
