HUGE THANKYOU.....you really did not have too, we choose to rescue, and therefor, it's on our heads to foot the cost.
BUT...you will be pleased to know, she is staying in our rescue, I spoke to my mam today about the hand over to the other rescue
frown.gif
, asking could someone else do it, as it would be hard for me, after keeping her 2 weeks....whilst her vax's complete.........................AND
SHE SAID, BRING HER TO ME TOMORROW, I HAVE SPACE TO PUT HER IN WITH A LITTLE STAFFI DOG, I.E GUZZLE ON THE SITE

The one reason, I was going to leave her at the yard she is in, is beacuse I knew I would feel crap, handing her over to another rescue, but when I saw the yard, I knew I had to remove her
crazy.gif
....I know we all do the same as rescues...but we all have our different ways.......so atleast, now I can see where she goes, and we secure her future
smile.gif

You 3 have now paid to keep her in feed for atleast 3 months, considering her weight lol, and paid for her vaxes

I coud, go back to the house, with my keys
smirk.gif
, shovel all the sh!t, that the dog was living in, and dump it on their living room floor, Im sure the next viewing for the house sale would not mind
smirk.gif

What a good idea
grin.gif
, even if it was half yours
tongue.gif
, I claim the best part of it
grin.gif

You take all the credit..................I probably wouldn't have thought of it if someone hadn't once posted me [****]!!!!

grin.gif

The matress, well...I don't think Im a strong enough to lift it...it was soaking
crazy.gif
I know I am a super strength fat dwarf, but I don't think I could, carry that up the stairs, I could have a removal company, remove their goods, settee, tv, e,t,c to..... say...the salvation army....Im sure the NCDL, would accept their leather 3 piece for the greyhounds in their care
smirk.gif
keep em coming
wink.gif

Gosh I feel loved!!!
grin.gif

LOL didn't know all thier stuff was still there!!! Well if they will be coming back for their stuff, start watering it. It is only fair they should feel what it is like to sit/sleep on soaking wet stuff, that smells all damp and musty. Perhaps some prawns down the side of the sofa for good measure!!! If they are not coming back for it, then I recon a garage/house sale is in order!!!
grin.gif

Hehe, all their gear is still there....I was trunching through [****], and walking straight through their kitchen and living room, for the 2 days the dog was there and I was feeding her
grin.gif

I left the dog meat on the bench, it will have a nice mould growth on it by now
smirk.gif

the fisrt day I walked the dog, she was so desperate to come back with me, she chewed the back door
grin.gif
it was pvc, looked like she had never touched it b4, but then she never had the taste of going out for a walk
mad.gif

lol well don't go getting into trouble, I hear jail is not a good place to spend Christmas. Possibly an accidentally left kipper behind the oven may be better and more explainable!
smile.gif

I am so glad she is coming to you now and as for the donation it was NOT a huge amount at all but of course I can't speak for anyone else's! I know the dogs really appreciate all you do Cala and your mum of course and although you choose to do it, there is no harm in being helped out. To be honest, I would rather donate to you than the RSPCA as I have asked for their help (animals in danger) in the past and been told that is not their remit! At least this way we can talk about the animals who need help.

Thank you Cala and Happy-not-spent-in-Jail Christmas x

Hope you will approve Breeze_mum, as I told Cala in a PM, I've looked up a dog charity in Stockholm that I can send a good old fashioned bank paper-paying-thing to.
Though they've been around helping dogs for a 100 years, I like their attitude towards rescuing. They seem to have sensible adopting demands, they want to know things such as: previous experience of dogs and other animals, how you live, what supervision you can give the dog during the day and how the family looks like. You get a person that keeps in contact with you, before and after, and they require that you leave at least two references about you as a person/dog owner, that they can check, before you can get a dog.

And they're very open about their rescuing, on their website you can see how many dogs that have been submitted by the police (some of these are lost dogs with owners who misses and are searching for their dog) and submitted by the public, how many that have found new homes and how many they euthanize.
They don't claim to save everyone, if they get a dog that turns out to be terminally ill, or in rare cases, if they after a considerable time simply can't figure out why a dog have an unsafe mentality, they do euthanize. Otherwise they care for them as long as it takes to find them a new home.
I think it sounds very reasonable, but Breeze_mum, if you want me to keep looking for other dogs in need, I will.

oh FLH I was kidding about the bun!! Consider our donation to Cala a Christmas present for the lovely dogs she cares for. Please do what you feel best, I am sure that whatever you choose will be worthy and I trust your judgement completely
smile.gif

oh and do you mean a ..now what is it..hmm...oh, a cheque??
grin.gif

Do you know hardly anywhere takes them here now, I opened a new bank account recently and didnt even get a cheque book!
confused.gif

No, not a cheque,
wink.gif
*smug voice* I have a cheque book *stop smug voice, whispers* never used it
blush.gif
*stops whispering*.

I mean the sort of bank paper-thingy where I on one half of the paper-thingy fill in who I'm sending my money to and who I am, and on the other half, informs the one getting the money what it's for. And then I give my cash and the paper-thingy to the bank cashier and
e035.gif
MAGIC! they get the money and I have a receipt to remind myself about where my money has gone.

ooh I have not heard of this paper exchange thingy (I can get smug too and say I have a cheque book for my other account, but hey, I never use it either as no one will take it!) lol
