Someone replied to my post a while ago about calmers and suggested Brewers yeast, they didn't say how much you should feed or where to get it from can anyone help??

You can get it from most feed merchants, they will have their own suppliers but the one I use is Gold Label made by StocKeare Ltd. West Street, Leven, Beverley, East Yorkshire. Tel: 01964 543924.
It's in 1.5.kg. tubs and usage is 40gm for adult horses, 20gm for ponies and foals. I use a rounded 25gm scoop for my horses if that helps.

I get mine from SS or I have a friend who gets it really cheap from a direct place - but you have to travel to Suffolk.

My 15 hand gypsy cob gets two heaped tablespoons a day in summer - for his sweet itch and my 16.3 clydesdale gets the same amount as he does not seem to need as much as the cob for the same result, as his SI is milder.

Both mine are very chilled, but this may be down to the breed.

Mine is a cob, but as one girl at the yard says he's got the body of a cob but the brain of a THOROUGHBREAD!
