brewers yeast- how much??

hi i am thinking of starting my 2 on brewers yeast, how much would they need daily?? 17.1 and 16.3 chunky TB's.
i was going to buy it from holland and barret as it is only £3.70 for 460g.

I pay about £9.50 for 1.5kg for Gold Label. Can't work out if that is a better price or not!

It's great as a calmer and also helps give them a great skin and shine.

I give my 15 hand cob two heaped tablespoons a day - he needs this amount to prevent him itching his sheath and belly, this is where he gets sweet itch.

You can get it from Simple Systems - 5 kilos is £26.90 or 1 kilo is £8.

However, I can get 25 kilos for £24.67 from a place in Suffolk - this lasts me a year for my two who both have it for mild sweet itch and really works together with instant linseed.

Mine are laid back but not plods, but being a clydesdale and a gypsy cob they are not excitable sorts to begin with.

Brewers yeast should be fed at the rate of 0.01% of bodyweight, and should be stabilised, ie dead yeast
