i've just bought a bag of brewers yeast for my boy after reading good things about it on here, but how much do I feed? I have a small 25ml blue supplement scoop - I have been giving him one of these a day. He weighs 490kg. Thanks :0)

I feed big horses 50 grammes a day. I'd feed your little feller about 40g. Mine love it and one of them is footie if he does not get it.

You can get it from a lot of places. I get mine from saracen, because I can order it together with the feed and they deliver at the stables.

I feed it to enhance hind gut health, since my horsie has had some ulcer issues.

Where do you get it? Do you feed for digestive purposes?

I buy mine in 25 kilo bags from Charnwood Milling. I feed it for gut health and I have had two horses who were footie barefoot when I got a supply that they would not eat. Yea-sacc works as well, at 15g a day because it's a live yeast so you need less.
