Just for those that were interested in how my sisters little shetland was getting on. She has been to a specialist vet and he has told her that she will be fine although will always have a head tilt.

My sister is going to retire her. I am not really sure what future she will have as I have not managed to speak to my sister in full yet, but at least for now she will not have to be PTS.

Blimey, a real turnaround. Last thing I remember was he had probably been pts. That's wonderful news. I have personally witnessed an horrific head injury happen and the immediate after effects (very frightening and poor to hopeless prognosis for any recovery) and horse is almost 'normal'. I'm so pleased to hear the cheerful outcome of your story.
