so i convinced hubby to come to the yard and video me last night. there are 2 videos, one of me cantering and second of me jumping (we improved on the 6" crosspole from the other night, i've no idea how big it is, but its a cross on about the 7th hole lol)

CC very welcome, but please be nice cos as u will know if u have read my other posts, jumping is something that is absolutely terrifying to me

thank u for looking, and hope to see ur comments :D (ps please excuse hubbys voice after the jump - sounds a bit feminine LOL:))

Bricking it...... you certainly dont look like you are to me!!!! As a fellow nervous rider, particularly about jumping i thought you rode vvv well. I am not expert rider but i thought you jumped it lovely! Nice, controlled and quietly ridden.

thank u very much, i made sure i kept my hands still by holding on to her martingale strap for dear life - didn't want to jab her in the mouth. i'm so lucky to have a horse who knows her job and tries her best to help me out :o

What a sweet horse you have. :)
Fear is a very strange thing. I have to admit people laugh at me coz i'll ride anything. Put me on something that bucks, rears, leaps, spins, bolts No problem I'll ride it. Put up a 6" jump and i'm a wreck. I start shaking and burst into tears :o
You look fab in the video. Keep up the good work, but take your time and don't push yourself before you are ready and i'm shore you'll be flying over jumps in no time at all wondering what you were so scared of :)

i'm quite like that, i don't mind anything on the flat, but when i pulled up after my jump my legs and hands were shaking like anything! i didn't cry yesterday, but when i jumped on monday i cried about asking for canter! :(

But you did it. :D you should be so proud of yourself and the more you do it the braver you'll get.
If I go showjumping i'm always sick before I go in. I just get so nervous :o After I love it and wonder why I was so scared  It's a strange thing the human mind.
Well i'm just strange all together ;)

I think you look fab, especially knowing what happened to you. She looks fabulous and you obviously have a good partnership. Well done xxxxxx:D

thanks everyone :) starting to slightly enjoy it now, though i'm still walking 5 times round the school in walk trying 2 steel myself, and then pull up afterwards with my arms and legs shaking like jelly, but i guess it will just take time :o
