Buy the one you like

There is a price increase in leather quality, but there is more of a price difference for the brands

Stubben, Jefferies, Albion, Sabre etc all trade off their name, so like any designer gear you pay extra for the name.

Buy the one you can most afford as in buy one at your top price, i would highly recommend the stubben ones very smart and they look expensive too think they start at about £89 or GFS ones, i bought my old pony one off e-bay for £40 new and it's fab, their leather is nice and not too pricey.
If i was on a budget i'd go for a GFS one, if i could splash out i'd get another Stubben

I have a lovely Jefferies Bridle, and also have a cheapy bridle I use for hacking so I dont have to constantly change bits around. English leather one (jefferies) one has lasted much better and comes up with a real shine without looking like plastic

If you are wanting an everyday bridle then no reason why you cannot get a cheaper one (Robinsons and Tesco have a sale on at the moment) but I do prefer English over European.
You can probably get a decent one such as Jefferies or Stubbern for a decent price on ebay.

Always go for an English leather one if you can, but be aware the 'names' up the price. I have bought a number of fabulous English leather, hand-stitched bridles from my local saddler, and they really are superb. They are also made to measure but without made-to-measure price tags. Worth giving him a call.A cob size flat cavesson bridle would cost about £65

It depends on what you want to spend but I like the Heritage ones, they are about £50 on ebay.

I have just invested in a Kieffer bridle though, waiting on its arrival, they are £39.99 in the sale at Frogpool at the mo.
