I am looking to get my lad a new bridle for when he comes back into work.
Im not looking to spend a lot prob £30max as I'm not showing or dressage etc. He is however a strange shape and I'd need something that I could piece together as he has a full noseband but cob cheekpieces etc.
Anyone ideas where I can get such a thing?

Maybe try ebay, as you would be able to get a variety of bridle parts and piece them together yourself, plus its alot cheaper especially if you get something second hand and you may be able to find the same make of something and get different sizes a lot easier perhaps. Worth a nosey!!!

If you peice together bridles you really need to use the same make for everything, cheekpeices, noseband etc, because otherwise its likely that they wont fit together/will look odd!
The trouble with this is that only the more expencive makes sell different bridle parts. I would maybe get a cob sized bridle and be prepared to punch holes to make it fit.
Maybe try cottage craft, they are cheap and ok quality.

If he is halfway between sizes, buy a bigger sized, good quality second hand bridle, get your local saddler to modify it. You should be able to get one on ebay. Stubben, Keiffer, Albion, are all really good quality and go on for years.

try ebay (:
a good company for quality tack you can mix and match is jeffries.
you could also try websites like equestria clearance as they sell alot of cheap tack
