As I have swapped from black tack to brown tack due to new saddle being havana and therefore causing co-ordination issues

I wondered if any of you can recommend a bridle? I don't want to spend a huge amount (ie. over £100 ) if i can help it... but this is what I want:

Full Size
Padded or comfort
NO crank noseband (i not like them)
Just a plain cavesson - no flash...

Most bridles I have looked at only seem to be either crank noseband or flash or both...

Anyone recommend a good one? I just want nice leather and no fuss. (but i like the look of the raised/ padded nosebands rather than the plain hunter ones)

Help please

There are a few ebay shops that do elevator copies... If you email them and ask nicely, many will swap a flash noseband for a plain raised noseband without the crank or flash

Widet, can you let me know if you find one as i've been looking for the same thing but in black and can i find one..i like the mark todd one but it's a little over pried at £130.

I got an email from an ebay seller saying they can order a cavesson, but they all come with crank nosebands. She then explained that these were kinder... but I really don't see the point in a crank cavesson... I mean I don't actually want it tight

Anyway - still looking...

I had exactly the same criteria as you...full, no crank, padded headpiece...I also wanted something a little finer because my horse has a lovely TB head.

I ended up with a Cliff Barnsby....its a really nice bridle and comes with reins for a little over £100. All the buckles are brass and it looks lovely on....and more importantly the brown is a really nice colour...proper brown.
