Bridle head piece repair

My horse has just managed to snap his head piece and damage a cheekpiece on his bridle......a very nice not cheap bridle ....the leather has basically snapped in to 2 pieces. Is it repairable do you think?

I'm sure it can be repaired (would spoil the look but would be functional), but if the leather has snapped then I personally wouldn't repair it due to the liklihood of there being more areas of weakness in the leather - wouldn't be a safe repair and I wouldn't agree to do it for someone. If I were you I would buy a new headpiece or have your saddler make one up to match the rest of your bridle.

No its not special just quite an expensive bridle. Im so annoyed!

You can buy all the decent makes in pieces. Sabre, Jefferies, Elevator etc.

Ok thanks i'll look online for a replacement head piece....i think the check piece is salvagable!
