I have several bridles but seems i need another...or an adaptation?!
I have a grackle noseband which needs to be threaded over the top of the bridle, this hurts my horses head when i wiggle the noseband to make sure its even everytime its put on. So i thought i'd use my comfort bridle with padded headpiece but this already has a cheekpiece, bit straps and straps for a noseband....so my grackle won't work. So, do i need a grackle with attaches to the comfort headpiece with a buckle on each side - where do i find this? or a padded part to go on my bridle i already have - like a sheepskin cover? Where would i get this? or do i buy a brand new confort bridle with grackle already? Wheres this found?!
I like my bridle as it is and dont really want a new one but need some protection behind his ears so it doesnt hurt him. He has a fine white line of fur where its scarred him and can only assume its from his bridle as he doesnt have a bridle left on for long periods?
