Okay, so i'm a fussy s*d and I like all my bridle strap ends neatly tucked away into the keepers....BUUUUUUUUT.......

My bridle is a few years old now and the odd clean that i've given it has softenned up the leather a little with the effect that the keepers now have an annoying tendency to fall down due to the effects of gravity

Anyone got any useful ideas on how to reverse this rather annoying trend ?

restitch or use plaiting band then pull the keeper over the top

Thanks Weezy. I did wonder about using a plaiting band but wonder if there is a neater method

I need something to shrink the keepers really.

Can't really be bothered to go down the re-stitching route. It would probably end up costing more than the bridle did (it was £15 on clearance sale and I didn't expect it to last thing long lol!)

I wrap a couple of plait bands round the cheekpiece below the runner, tuck the end in and they don't show, just need to make sure you use brown on beown leather and black on black.
