Just bought a new Kieffer Dagmar on Ebay.. it is fab - new price is normally 140 so a bit pricey.. but got it for 80 .. Mickey is a bit for a wimp and everything that can possibly rub normally rubs him, but this is completely padded - cheek pieces the lot.. (and the throatlatch - even i have to admit that is a bit excessive
)
Old bridle was a kieffer and lasted really well - normally pays to save up and get a quality one .. the cheap ones are always a disappointment.
It depends on what type of bridle you want. I searched high and low for my new bridle. I didnt want a crank noseband or flash but wanted a comfort headpiece a combination that no-one seems to make. I also wanted a more delicate bridle because she has a fine head.
Eventually went for a Cliff Barnsby which met all my requirements...beautiful bridle with brass fittings and comes with reins for £125 which is a bargain.
