Bear with me, I'm after a new hackamore but I'm as interested in brand experiences as much as actual hackamore ones. Currently have a Jeffries IR headpiece with a hackamore nose but the problem is I can't get the cheek pieces short enough (for the hackamore I have to use the straps that are designed for the noseband, even pony length cheeks are on the long side). I thought I'd go for a custom hackamore bridle so here are the choices so far (happy to hear of any others):
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-LEAT...927402?hash=item48eb74856a:g:kN0AAOSwX1JfPA3D - looks nice but not sure about the bulk under the hackamore arms?
https://www.kramer.co.uk/Horse/Bridles-Accessories/Bitless-Bridles/Hackamore-Anatomical - tempting because it's the cheapest of the bunch and has quite unusual arms
https://www.equiport.co.uk/products/horse/bridles/new-english-collection-hackamore-bridle-b112-dy26/ - don't like the look of this one as much, it seems a bit thin
https://www.hopevalleysaddlery.co.uk/ps-of-sweden-hackamore-sport-bridle.html - looks lovely but substantially more expensive than the rest, I think the Kramer one is a copy of this!
Opinions and experiences wanted!

So I had a Kramer bridle (not hackamore) and although it is a lovely bridle - it didn’t look like real leather on some parts? Idk, just looked different on the cheek pieces etc, almost plasticy initially! It did settle with wear, but after paying £80 and receiving it I was abit like “did I just pay £80 for a synthetic”! The website said it was leather, which I believe it to be so but it did look funny for abit!
