Bridle with dutch gag!

get a F/S bridle but cob sized cheekpieces - a lot of tack shops will sell individual bridle parts? Or you can get the cheek pieces shortened, it's quite simple for a saddler to do (they just cut the end off and sew the buckle back on)

You can buy cheek pieces separately in a tack shop or on-line. Just make sure the width is the same as those on your bridle, then find shorter cheek pieces. Not all tack shops have a good selection but are usually happy to order them. I found it cheaper to buy online though.

Find a horsey friend who has a collection of bridle pieces. I seem to have about thirty thousand pony bridle parts which I stubbornly hold onto "in case of an emergency" which would also require my two to shrink a bit. Or I might get a pony again at some point....
