At my wits end, Teds Bridle will not sit right on his head, Trying to put it on is awful, it doesn't seem lond enough, so then we adjust the cheek peices and the bit seems too low in his mouth. Argggh this is the 2nd bridle we have had problems with

Any advice on fitting at all ? Have done all the fingers and stuff

Sorry about the poor quality photos

In both instances the noseband is too low and loose enough that the flash is pulling it down even further making the flash sit so low as to be pressing on the soft part of his nostrils. Unless you are intentionally trying to smother the poor thing of course. Does he actually NEED the flash because if not the noseband in would look a lot better. IMHO the noseband in Bridle one is just too small across the front of the nose, the browband looks small too.

Will try doing a mix and match tommorow :)

He does need the flash as he gawps horribly at the moment, I am attempting to school through it. Considering swapping to a drop or grackle as I am not a big fan of flashes

try a mexican/grackle bridle. I always found that the flash would pull the noseband down on some horses when the noseband didn't fit perfectly. As you can adjust the mexican nosebands they are easier to fit :). Sabre also do a mix and match service I believe as my TB is a full brow band and cheeks but a cob mexican noseband I went through about 4 bridles ending up mixing and matching pieces from each, before finally buying separate parts from Sabre and now have a bridle which fits perfectly :)

Agree nothing looks like it fits quite right in first or second photo....
Cutting a neat bridle path in the mane may help the headpiece sit nicely, try clippers for a close shave.
Browband still looks too small in second photo you might need a 14 inch one, I avoid the padded kind it can make them tighter.
Headpiece looks short around the throat although that may be the picture.
Cheekpieces need to be shorter too.
Drop noseband may be better, think you will struggle to get grackle that small without spending ££££
Try ASCOT and DEVER bridlework, you can buy everything separate much cheaper and quality isn't too bad. They sell cheekpieces in inches I suspect you might need a pony headpiece, cob browband, extra short cheekpieces and a pony or shetland size drop.
Buying the separate bits in english leather will be dear!!
