So I bought the horse....I fetched him this weekend.

He really is an absolute dude and I'm so happy! Very different from my other boy and running the two together will greatly improve my riding.

His previous owner had him in a grackle which I have found that he does not need, and so have him in a GFS cavesson that i have borrowed from a friend whilst I look for one.

I'm looking for a bridle for him and have come across the Felix Buhler Vision Space. It's similar to the PS Nirak (without the flash) and the Schoekemole rip off of that bridle (so basically a rip off of both just without the flash). I hate flashes and see no point for them to be honest and it's so difficult to find a bridle that is anatomical and does not have one.

Question is...have any of you used the above bridles, what did you think? Picture attached (I hope).

I haven't but if you're after an anatomical bridle the Horsemanship Saddlery range is very nice, not hugely expensive and I know lots of people who have had very good results with them. I have the Saturn but there are other styles, depending on what suits your horse.

I tried the Felix Buhler one but could not get it to fit at all. To be fair, the horse I was trying it on generally needs a full bridle but with cob cheekpieces, so maybe it was optimistic of me! I went to the Horsemanship saddlery bridles, they really are lovely, you can customise them, and the horse goes so much better in them.

i haven't tried one but all of these "anatomical" bridles seem to have less adjustment in the individual parts than a standard type of bridle and the cheaper ones appear to be impossible to interchange the parts. Therefore you are banking on your horse having an "off the peg" sized head.

Friend has a Horsemanship Saddlery bridle, it was a good idea for her as the bit fitter helped pick the correct sized elements which she was struggling with.

Thanks for this. I think I will have the same problem to be honest. I called them for sizing and it seems massive!

I have a horsemanship saddlery bridle, it's lovely leather and you can pick and mix sizes of the parts to fit. Mine has the Saturn bridle in a mix of full and cob.
