Bridleways maps?

yeah me too, i've been hunting round the last few days for bridleway maps with no results. There was a brilliant website I found a while ago with a whole load of maps all over the UK but I just can't find it anywhere now!
 
I always use streetmaps - very clear bridleways / right of ways etc

this is the link I use for my local area ( example ) and very basic to navigate!!!!!!

another tip is to go on the national trust websites / bhs website and log onto you local council.
 
Just to add......if you have a GPS then you can buy well detailed maps off ebay - seller is dragonscape and they are about £40, well worth it and cover a very large area and you can ask for the bespoke area rather than as per a set map.

Ordance survey also do an online map ( Landranger ), which you can actually buy.
 
YES - on Ordance Survey map

short dotted green lines - footpath
Long dotted green lines - bridleway
Long dotted orangy/brown lines - permissive bridleway.

I don't think steetmap provides permissive routes!

You can view on-line your area on Ordance Survey.

Sorry if interrupting! I live in East Devon and am trying to get some like minded bods together as we're petitioning the local council and anyone else that will listen about getting some old tracks etc opened up. These were never placed on the map as proper bridleways, and various landowners through the years have closed them down; but we have evidence that they've been used for many years.

If you're in the East Devon area please PM me; we need more people on board!

Have just read your post. Have you contacted your local bridleways group for some help? Also, it is worth contacting the local riding clubs in the area, visiting local livery yards for user evidence etc.
