I have cut an pasted below a letter from the head of access at the BHS. I have to say i agree with all the points and will be emailing my MP - if you agree please do likewise? I am particularly concerned about the potential liability issues from riding two abreast if this draft code goes throguh unchanged.
Also - can i ask you to request your MP to support Early Day Motion 1004 which is in support of safe off road riding - you can see details at http://edmi.parliament.uk/EDMi/EDMDetails.aspx?EDMID=32732&SESSION=885. To date only one Bedfordshire MP has supported it (of 6) (tip - if you change the list order to Alphabetic it easier to check if yours has)

This won't take you long - making the roads safer for riders and enhancing off road riding is in your interests and those of the next generation - please take the 5 mins to campaign! Just copy and paste if that is all you have time for but if you can make comments based on personal or local experience then that will make your case stronger.
