Yesterday went for a ride along a bridle way, it leads u past a farm, however the farm dog, ran out and was barking and running around the horses. Scarying the horses and freaking out My friends 8 yr old daughter. Do we have a right to complain? If so who to?

If the dog left the farm so was on public land eg the bridle way then yes you can complain but tbh no will listen. Unless the dog bit a human they would say they can't do anything about it.

If the dog is loose then you have every right to report the matter to the police and local authorirt dog warden as it is a 'Statutory Nuisance'. This is an offence under the Enviroimental Protection act 1990 and the owner can be prosecuted

how about just having a word with the farmer first...might not be an ogre, and I'm sure he wouldnt want his dog injured from a horse kicking it!
