I'll not say too much and will let Severnmiles/Ben&Jerrys fill you in!!

Rhi's brother won the PAVO yearling class in a very large field(I think about 25) and was in outstanding form looking very impressive indeed. Rhi herself did very well but was a little tired, and tried to have a quick forty winks and a lie down in the middle of the line up while everyone was doing their individual shows!

Some stunning Mill Laws but not necessarily impressed with their movement and athleticism in this lot. There was an arab cross warmblood belonging to the Guinesses that was placed in the yearlings I think. The Mcguigans were very naughty indeed!

A Goshka Ringo coloured finished about 4 th in the huge yearling class ( have mentioned this for Simply Nutty!!)

Ben _and Jerrys 2 year old was gorgeous and did a fantastic show.

Didnt have time to see much else going on!! Except for Future Illusion ( young Fleetwater Oppo stallion) getting loose and having a wild gallop round!! ( shame a few mares couldnt get a free service!

Oh fab! PM'd you and severnmiles but her PMs are full.... So what did you tell Rhi when she started buckling at the knees?!

Hmmm, hopefully Deco's athleticism will compensate for any lacking in Mill Law.... Would be nice if he could compensate for her wonky legs though!

I was standing directly behind the judges and dozing off (the class took about 2 hours!) and felt this movement behind me,looked round and lo and behold she was on the floor and everyone else was laughing!! so just growled at her (quietly, did not want to attract judges!)and thankfully she pulled herself up (and dont think judges saw,!!)!

Nice to see you there seabiscuit!

My boy was a little star, wish he had a little snooze like Rhi, unfortunately he had ants in his pants and fidgetted the whole time

couldn't even get him to stand still in front of the judges, oops !

Despite being on the small and immature side compared to some of the other professionally produced horses, his loose athletic paces caught the judges eyes and he was pulled up in the top 8, so I was over the moon.

I really didn't manage to watch many of the others in my class and my attention was focused elsewhere so to speak, but there were certainly a few on their back legs at times, thankfully not mine though!

The judges were Mary Gordon Waston,(I am sure it was her!!) Jane Holderness Roddam and CIndy Simms who I know well from pony club so it was nice to see a familiar face!

Horsenut- Future Illusion was a handsome chappy, very well put together, and is athletic, but seemed on the small side, he reminded me of a show pony rather than being an eventing type! but it is so hard to tell at this age. Was not sure about his face and the look in his eye.....(but then I have a big thing about faces LOL)

B&J,lovely to meet you too, I was most impressed with your boy's paces, and he had a lovely head and bold big eye!! Umm...really thought he should have been in the line up as not too sure about the movement of the placed horses!

sorry, didn't pay too much attention to names I'm afraid but if you let me know the name of your 2yo it may jog my memory!
The 2yo's was won by a nice chunky dark chestnut, second was a huge gangly bay catherston, third was a bright bay with a bit of roan flecks, urm ... struggling to remember the next 3, then it was mine and a chunky coloured colt. The others left the ring.

Awww thank you, I really wish I had arrived in time to see you and Rhi in action!
I was just really pleased to be in the top 8, he has fantastic paces and temprement but if I'm honest his conformation wouldn't be the best which in a showing class is always going to be his downfall, but hey ... it only showing

just wait til he's broken in

Those three would know a nice horse when they saw it, all of them being "old school" (I mean that in the nicest possible way).

Were there any More Pokey offspring? Pokeys Bally Milo was 9th in the 4 yr olds - but I just wondered if there were any other of his babies. I'd quite like one if anyone out there knows of any?
