Bright yellow wee - normal???

My friend was in the field today and noticed that when my gelding did a wee it was BRIGHT YELLOW we are talking hi viz colour.... I called the vet who said not to worry it, has anyone else had this as i am worried!!!

Usually means concentrated, maybe not drunk enough water mares have the same thing when they are in season

Yes in the cold, like us, horses feel it's too cold to drink cold water...

If the horse is otherwise fine, relax.

My pony did this a couple of weeks ago. Was back to normal in a few days x

Thanks for the replies, if it is odd tomorrow i am going to take a sample to the vet for them to test
