Brightling Int SJ, what went wrong?

Well i did the **, very bad showjumping round for me but my horse was still in XC mode so thats why....didn't see too much of the Inter so dont know why, was quite an up to heigt course though.
 
Brightling usually build up to height and technical. Personally I think thats good- sorts out the true jumpers!
 
Will do my report in a min.. But the ground was the problem, it rained loads in the early hours then dryed like superglue.

Trying to get up the slope was a knightmare as you just weren't getting anywhere! Scopey, careful horses were just jumping higher to compensate and not making the back rails of any spreads, I saw 3 rails broken in half, several falls and more CR's than I can remember.. IMO all down to the sj being on a slope coupled with ground conditions the organiser just couldn't help!
