Brilde that has to go showjumping and Working Hunter- clips or not?

I'm after a new bridle for my horse. I aim to event him but just to get into the swing of things we have been competing in working hunter classes and show jumping and really enjoying ourselves.

So, as I plan to do more WH this summer is a bridle with bit clips rather than old fashioned billets a no-no for the show ring?

Not ideal would go for billets if you intend to show a bit.

Plus they aren't that safe in general, as clips have more tendency to break.

No clips, they are horrid.

Can't show in clips or buckles. Get billets!!! Same for flash nosebands!

If you're really like clips too get a second set of cheekpeices - then you can have the best of both worlds without spending a fortune.

billets only for WH, anything else will look mega out of place IMHO.

No clips, they look a bit cheap I think. Nice billeted bridle, can't go wrong
