Quick run down of situation -
Horrific balance/dizziness issues and major anxiety resulting in me thinking i would never ride (the amount of times i have been stood on the mounting block trying to find some balls and get on is ridiculous!) had my first lesson on friends new horse 3 weeks back!
Lesson number 3 was today, sticking to walk for now until I've cracked it. Im in no rush, lots of getting him to extend/collet his stride. Bending round cones etc he now stands perfectly square on one rein (other rein is a work in progress ..) all of this while there was practically a construction site going on by the school gates and he didn't even flinch. Absolute gem Louie is
I've still not had any huge problems with my balance/dizzy head moments so very happy. Feeling a lot more relaxed, comfortable and trusting Lou alot more too.
Needless to say Louie got lots of carrots!!!
