Brilliant result for Seb & Jamie

The flat jockeys championship ending up a dead heat, 190 winners apiece, with Jamie Spencer riding a winner in the last race to count to draw level with Seb Sanders.

Huge respect to both these guys who have slogged their guts out for most of the year, but especially the last few weeks. Neither deserved to lose, and it's a rare day that life is fair, but today was one of those.

Both of them said on channel 4 racing today that they would rather have a tie than win outright. To lose by one winner at this stage of the season would have been awful.

Seb did an interview with the Weavershark on ATR yesterday, it was really quite funny when he talked through what he was thinking as the day progressed, especially when he was describing what he was doing and thinking as he waited to see if Borderlesscott had snatched the photo.

it was the best outcome really! they both had a fabulous season, and to be that close, and then to have lost it would have been torture for one of them. well done to them both i say
