Is anyone out there is looking for a challenging but really fun riding holiday? Have just come back from riding coast to coast across the Scottish Highlands from Clachtoll in the west to Brora on the east coast. We went with "Highlands Unbridled" and would thoroughly recommend it - fabulous hosts, sure footed and forward going horses/ponies and scenary that just makes it impossible to be stressed. Luggage is moved on daily courtesy of Graham, while Jan leads the trail - you need to know what you're doing up here, lots of very well hidden bogs! Staying in B&B's and hotels. Did think I might loose a bit of weight with riding 6 or 7 hours a day but the quality of the food on offer put paid to that idea!
