I came across a webpage yesterday claiming to have the largest herd of brindle horses. I had never heard of a brindle coloring for a horse before so I took a look. I was not impressed at all and to me they look 'dirty' and the markings are not great. How do they breed for this and what is it? Have you ever seen one and what do you think of them? I'm going to go find the link and will be back to post it

Never seen any over here....I always thought they were more of an american bred colouring? [If that makes sense?]

Edited - I have no educated clue on the matter....only snippets what I've come across in random articles, adverts, programmes etc over the years! They've always just happened to have been american based sites and adverts....so just presumed it was an american thing....
