Bring a horse to the UK - Diffficulties??

Hello,

I'm French and I will probably move to England and move my horse from France to UK.Does someone know if some specific paper or something else is necessary to enter a horse in UK?

I know from Germany the horse has to have blood tests and there is paper work but I used a transport company and they did it all for me.
 
My horse came from Jersey so not that far but similar, and paperwork was all done by transport company, although I think if you look on the DEFRA site you may find details?
 
Hi, I live in France and our horse went to England for an 8 month period some years ago. we didn't use a transporter. Nothing special was required other than vaccinations in good order and a certificate from the vet.
